Marcia Dompieri, Researcher – Strategic Territorial Intelligence Group, Embrapa Satellite Monitoring

Researcher at the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation (EMBRAPA), graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Statistics (UFSE), Informatics (FASP) and Geography (UNESP); Master’s and Doctoral Degrees (UNESP) in Geographical Science (Space Organization Program). The researcher also has technical graduation in Topography (Jundiaí/SP) and specialization at Polytechnic School (PTR / USP) in the lines of acquisition, treatment and use of spatial information. She worked at the Geological Institute of São Paulo from 2004 to 2012, since then she joined to EMBRAPA group, as researcher in Remote Sensing, Geoprocessing and Statistics, acting specifically in the strategic territorial analysis of the dynamics of Brazilian agriculture.
