Jimena Morales, Director of Catastrophic Expenditure Prioritization and Intersectorial Management, General Health Council (Mexico)

Medical, with a Master’s degree in Transfusion Medicine and Cell Therapy at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, ​​Spain, she has carried out research protocols in cell therapy; focused on neurosciences in public dependencies of the Ministry of Health; as well as in private practice in Mexico. She worked in the National Blood Transfusion Center as Deputy Director of Research and Development of the Blood Regulations and as Director of the Technical and Research Area; impulse the development of normativity and cryopreservation of hematopoietic cells, has developed government projects of high impact on health, coordinating the access of medicines and the opening and start-up of Specialty Hospital Units, she has worked as an Advisor in the National Formulary Medications List and Healthcare Supplies and Deputy Director of Basic and Catalog of Medical Devices, Healing Material and Diagnostic Assistants of the General Health Council. She is currently the Director of Prioritization of Catastrophic Expenditures and Intersectoral Management.
