Gabriel Di Blasi is the managing partner of Di Blasi, Parente & Associados, an Intellectual Property Law firm funded by him 32 years ago. As an industrial engineer, industrial property agent and a lawyer, his practice covers national and international issues, including patents, industrial design, business secrets, cultivars, licensing and franchise agreements, management of technology and technological innovation. Gabriel’s prosecution’ and litigation’ practice embrace a wide array of industries, including agribusiness, pharmaceutical, medical device, animal health, agrochemicals, green tech, biotech, telecommunication, mechanics, oil and gas, among others. Gabriel also, focused on regulatory matters and is particularly involved with ANVISA measures in Brazil. Mr. Di Blasi is member of the Executive Committee of the International Federation of Intellectual Property Attorneys (FICPI), where he serves as Chair of the Design Committee (CT2). In 2015, he became associate founder and member of the deliberative council for the Institute of Government Relations (Irelgov). Restating his knowledge and practice of Government Relations. He is also a member and responsible for IP and regulatory affairs of the Biotechnology Committee (BIOBRASIL) of the National Federation of Industries of São Paulo (FIESP). Mr. Di Blasi is also the Legal Director of the Brazilian Association of Franchising sectional Rio (ABF-Rio).
