Daniel Dominguez, General Coordinator, Allbiotec (Mexico)

Daniel Domínguez is a Biotechnology Engineer from National Polytechnic Institute (MX). Currently, he is General Coordinator at Allbiotech, a nonprofit organization aiming to foster the adoption and development of biotechnology in Latin America; creating a strong community of biotech leaders, scientists and entrepreneurs.

Daniel is also Innovation Manager at L&M Consulting, a firm dedicated to develop novel technologies on digital agriculture, artificial intelligence and biotechnology.

He has notorious experience in bioentrepreneurship, tech transfer and public policy. He collaborated in the design of the tech transfer policies for the Mexican Institutes of Health. Daniel lead the first successful technology licensing at the National Institute of Psychiatry (MX).

His work on biotech regulation was a key reference for the Working Group on Synthetic Biology of the Intersecretarial Commission on Biosafety of Genetically Modified Organisms. (CIBIOGEM). He was chosen among the 100 Leaders of Tomorrow in Biotech for Global Biotech Revolution (Cambridge, UK) for GapSummit 2014.
