About the 2019 edition

 

The 2019 Conference’s theme was “Innovation and Business Partnering as Drivers of the Bioeconomy in Latin America”, with discussions focused on emerging biotechnologies and their potential to cure and transform healthcare, including personalized medicine, AI and machine learning, along with recent debates about biodiversity and the use of cannabis for healthcare innovation.

On a stage that covered two simultaneous panel tracks, that made it possible for participants to follow as much as they could on the 16 thematic sessions held, the discussions also included topics such as international cooperation, corporate venture for biotech and healthcare, the presentation of innovative technologies and success stories on accelerating startups in Latin America.
